How do you spend your time? Are you someone who plans each moment without leaving time for rest while telling yourself you’re
so busy, there just isn't enough time in the day? Or are you the kind
of person who idles away your time thinking about what needs to be done
without getting much accomplished? Both distract you from connecting
with your true essence.
The fact is, there is plenty
of time be productive and still have time to relax, meditate, and
connect to the things that bring joy to your life. How long does it take
to stop your racing mind and notice nature's beauty which is all around
you? It
is there while you walk or drive. Turn off the radio. Put your cell
phone away and breathe in the fresh air. This is spring! Listen to the
birds. They’re out there calling.
If you are the one who doesn’t
get much accomplished, try making a list. Place on this agenda only
things you feel you can complete that day. Then prioritize the list. If
you are really a procrastinator, making a list may
be all you complete that day. No problem. The next day you will be ready
to delve into your tasks. Be sure to reward yourself for whatever you
accomplished and be aware of the changes you have made which are
different from your old patterns.
Spring is a time of
new growth and fresh starts. Nature is here to support you for she is
doing the same thing. Rider in Her wave.
